I’m Alec Pedersen, an independent designer and software engineer based in the UK. I bring the design and technical work together, so you have one person to discuss decisions with.

A few practical details.
What does the first year cost?
£495 setup plus 12 monthly payments of £149: £2,283 in total, before any applicable VAT. The setup payment starts the project; monthly billing starts when your website launches. The agreed scope and payment schedule are written into your proposal.
Who owns the website and domain?
Your domain is registered in your name. After the initial 12-month term has been paid in full, the website design and source files are yours to take elsewhere. Third-party software and media remain subject to their own licences. Ownership and handover are recorded in your proposal.
What happens after the first 12 months?
Continue the managed service at £149 per month on a rolling basis, or end it with 30 days’ notice and arrange hosting elsewhere. The ongoing fee covers the care and monthly change allowance. There is no automatic redesign or new build included.
